Sweet and sour pork ribs recipe
If you like sweet and sour flavor, you should try this dish! I can eat more rice than usual with this one. I brought it to a party, and my friend’s kids LOVE it!
- 1lb Pork ribs
- Four 2-inch green onions
- 3 ginger slices
- 4 tbsp Corn Oil
- 2tbsp sugar
- 2tbsp vinegar
- 1tbsp salt
- 1tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cooking wine
- 2 cups of water
1.Boil pork ribs in warm water for 1-2 minutes to remove impurities.
2. Scoop up the pork ribs and dry them with paper towel in a clean plate.
3. Heat corn oil in the fry pan over high heat. And fry pork ribs until turning golden brown. Flip pork ribs to the other side and fry again until golden brown. Add oil to avoid getting burnt.
4. Mix sugar, vinegar and soy sauce in a small bowl. And add sauce to the pan.
5. Add 2 cups of water and turn heat to low heat. Cover the pan for 30 minutes. Let the ribs absorb the sauce. When the sauce is mostly absorbed, add salt and cooking wine. And that’s it!
