On our return flight, Joseph asked me which restaurant you liked most in Austin. I told him, food truck! I love all the food truck foods we had in Austin, better and much cheaper than any restaurants!!

Continuing from previous post about places to go in Austin.
6th street is a nice place just to walk around, listen to live musics, and bar hopping. Both of us are not a big fan of bar so we just did street walking.
Driskill Hotel is a must-see. The outside architecture is amazing, and don’t miss the inside (especially the stunning stained-glass ceiling).
Joseph and I spent 5 days in Austin, right before the SXSW conference. The weather was perfect around 70 degree. While some local people feel it is still chilly in the early morning and night, it was soooo warm for Michiganers!! We both loved Austin a lot, the culture, history, and the food! Austin has become our top 2 favorite places to go! I will talk about places we went to in Austin in this post first, and to be continued in the next post.
I have wrote several posts about our Cancun budget travel and restaurants review in both Hyatt Ziva and Riu Palace.
